First Day in this Crazy Beer Town

Well for all you folks reading My Awesome Life blog you know that I am a big beer drinker. Which is great because I will be spending the next nine months in "Beer Town USA". This blog will depict my trials and tribulations with the beer scene in Asheville NC and surrounding areas. This way we can follow not only my work life but my purple recreation life as well. This one I will be a little more me a little less professional. And I will probably have a typo or two due to the lack of editor on this blog. Well I hope you enjoy as much as I will. Right now I'm sitting in Asheville Brewing Company. Drinking a Nitro Ninja, it is their Ninja Porter on Nitro. And before you judge me yes I tried the regular Ninja first. Well a taste of it. It is smooth as I would expect all Nitros to be. With a rich full body and no hint of the dreaded bitterness. I am really enjoying this brewery half inside half outside. Pretty good music at a decent level. I haven't looked at the menu but a lot of people seem to like it. Guess I'll have to come back. They sell growlers for just over $10. They also have clothing: tanks are 12 and tees are between 12 and 15... not too shabby. They do have a mug club with pretty cool mugs. $50 for the mug. They are 4 more ounces than a pint glass. So for every 4 you get one free or if you drink 48 of them the glass pays for itself. Will have to look more into this beer scene to see if I want to invest in a mug. :) That's all for now.
